Shrumfuzed was created because we saw the need for improvement in the alternative marketplace. We were seeing all these products pop up that advertised an accessible way to achieve the same effects as real magic mushrooms, but when we tried them we were sorely disappointed. We noticed the same things pretty much across the board- they’re putting either cannabinoids or amanita muscaria in these things, and we just didn’t get the results we’d hoped for. We kept getting gross tasting, weak edibles and a major upset tummy.
We knew we could do it better, so our formulation team researched tirelessly and tried a number of trippy blends until we found one we liked. Then we tested. And tested. And tested. We found the best method for preserving the integrity of the compounds is small batch production. We did a number of flavor tests to see which profiles fit well with the nootropic mushrooms. We tested different packaging to determine the ideal way to maintain proper dosage in warm weather while retaining child resistant features. Then we get to the fun stuff- product testing.
Before launching Shrumfuzed to the public, our team of dedicated product testers stepped up and took the first step into a new world. Following the cardinal rule of tripping, we started low and went slow with only one piece.
